    Tipu Tree Sick Mesa Arizona

Tipu Trees are suffering this year in record numbers in mesa, and these videos will aide you in determining if your ash trees are infected.

If you're having problems with your Tipu trees and you live within 50 miles of Mesa Az, you should probably have me out take a look at them, there are medicines that I can Inject the trees with, that will boost there immune system, and speed up the healing process of the trees.

The Tipuana tipu, is also known as the rosewood and sometimes the pride of Bolivia. It can grow to almost 100 feet in height and it gets up to 55 feet wide. The tipu is used as a shade tree in Arizona.

The leaves of the tipu tree are about 10 inches long, and made up of leaflets 1 to 3 inches long. The flowers are bright yellow in color and bloom only briefly in the late summer.

The Ash Fly is a problem for tipu trees. The Ash Fly is a small white fly from the Mediterranean, which arrived in the valley about 12 years ago. To learn about these insects watch the videos on this page.

The tipu psyllid is sometimes a problem for Tipu trees. The extensive feeding of the tipu psyllid causes the leaves on the tipu trees to curl and drop early reducing the stored chemical energy in the reserve cells of the tree. As reserve energy decreases trees are more susceptible to disease.

Tipu psyllid nymphs and adult nymphs are tiny insects that feed on the sap. All life stages (except eggs) attack young leaves and branches of Tipu The nymphs produce wax pellets. Adults and nymphs produce large amounts of honeydew which fosters the growth of black sooty mold on leaves and branches.

The Tipu is also a food plant for the spittlebugs, and in both Southern California, and Arizona. The spittlebug that likes the tipu comes from Africa, and the tipu spittlebug is very social and enjoys being in crowd, in its larval and nymph stages, they feed on a variety of plants, and produce protective nests of nasty looking foam from the plant's sap. Excreted in large amounts, the foam drips constantly causing wet patches on the soil below.

Adults have slate-grey wings. The head is white and rounded with large dark eyes, and small black and yellow marks on the forehead.

For the tipu psyllid I get the homeowner on a yearly program of treating the tree with Bio Advanced Tree And Shrub, and I inject medicines directly into the tree, that will speed up the healing process.

Unfortunately, the Bio Advanced Tree And Shrub does not control spittlebugs. For the spittlebugs also use Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect, Disease and Mite Control..

The Bio Advanced Tree And Shrub comes in both liquid and granular, I believe the granular is the safest to use. You can get the Bio Advanced Tree And Shrub from Home Depot.

It's very important to read the cautions on the label of this product and I would recommend that you keep your kids and dog’s inside until the poison is completely washed into the soil, and the soil is dry.

The Instructions will tell you how much you need to buy and be sure to wear gloves.

Be careful when you use the Bio Advanced Tree And Shrub or the Bio Advanced 3-in-1 Insect, Disease and Mite Contro.

In 6 months use the Ultra Tree Spike. Use one spike for every 2 inches of tree diameter. Store in a cool place our sheds and garage's get to hot in the summer time. Repeat yearly.

Also there are medicines that I can inject directly into the tree that will speed up the healing process.

We now understand -in part- how a trees immune system works.

Every cell of every plant contains enzymes that dissolve fungus, bacteria, and viruses. These enzymes are the same as the enzymes in our spit that dissolves meat.

Normally a tree has a strong immune system, but when the reserve energy of a tree becomes depleted due to Insect damage, damaged leaves, incorrect watering, or improper pruning, the immune system suffers. Under normal circumstances, once these issues are resolved, and if the tree survives, everything will go back to normal in two to four years.

If you're having problems with your Tipu trees and you live within 50 miles of Mesa Az, you should probably have me out take a look at them, there are medicines that I can Inject the trees with, that will boost there immune system, and speed up the healing process of the trees.
